Remembering Lorissa's Birthday and why the effort must and will continue.

It's a bittersweet remembrance given that she is no longer with us to share in what should be a happy occasion, but it is a necessary part of remembering anyone who has left this world, remembering the day that they were first given to this world. Those words definitely hold a special meaning for Lorissa, because to those who knew her and of her, she was a gift. A kind-heart with a child-like innocence and naivety that was altogether quite fetching to any individual, and one that is sorely missed by those who knew and cared about her. My new found friend Missie, a childhood friend of Lorissa's, has also chosen to mark this occasion with a very poignant birthday wish to this now departed angel, which can be read on Facebook. I have also elected to re-post it here for sake of convenience, but I encourage all reading to visit Justice For Lorissa and the Petition To The Virginia Police to Re-Open Lorissa's Case links and mark this occasion with your support.

I've been trying all day to think of the proper words to make a post reminding everyone that today is Lorissa's birthday... All I want to say is HAPPY in front of birthday, but today isn't a happy day. It's the day my friend would've turned 43 if she wouldn't have been murdered ; (
I've just been trying to remember all the birthday celebrations we had as children and the crazy birthday things we did in our teens and beyond ;)~
My happy day to Lorissa will be the day Doug is found guilty in a court of law. Your continued support of sharing her story will help us achive that and we hope that's soon!!! Thanks for your support!!!
♡ RIP my friend ♡

P.S. - With whatever assurance I can give you Missie, come what may, we will prevail. Rest In Peace Lorissa.

A look at the Waverly PD, the people who allegedly handled Lorissa's case.

There have been many bizarre things surrounding the circumstances of Lorissa's passing, not the least of which being all the false stories that were circulated on the internet. However, the one that has been the most troubling is this question: What kind of police force allows a potential murder suspect to walk without so much as an in-depth investigation into all of the anomalies surrounding her death (how she shoots herself with a shotgun and leaves no prints, has no powder burns on her hands, and leaves a suicide note with no blood on it, for example) and allows said person to flee the state without a second round of questioning? I got that answer back in early September when I attempted to see the incident report of an allegedly closed case, and it was the same sort of police force that shouts at the same person for doing so.

I had elected not to take a video camera with me when I requested to see the incident report and decided to back off rather than push the issue when I realized the police were not going to allow me to see the report without a court order. The reason for this is that there tends to be other things wrong with police departments that cover up the circumstances of people being deceased under mysterious circumstances, such as having officers with problems controlling their tempers. Apparently there was an incident in Waverly, Virginia involving one of its 7 officers and a case of clear and shocking police brutality, the like of which you would normally associate with a 3rd world country.

In the interest of full disclosure, it should be noted that the event in question happened in early April of this year, which was after the local government had ousted former chief of police Kevin Lands, who was in charge of investigating Lorissa's death. However, most of his staff are still on the force, including the other officer featured in this video at the 1:22 mark (he did not give me his name or badge number), who was also the officer who shouted at me and told me that any media credentials (including MSM network affiliates) would not get me in to see the report without a court order (I get the feeling that I'd have to get a higher court than the local one to give one given that Waverly is notorious for its kangaroo proceedings regarding traffic violations by out-of-town folks according to several testimonials on this site).

Indeed, the story of Waverly as a town with Boss Hog styled local politics goes pretty deep, and includes a nice, fat salary for most of its so-called public servants that averages about $52,000 per year (chief of police as high as $98,000 per year) in a town with an average median income of just above $33,000 per year. One could safely guess that a lot of that money comes from somewhere other than the modest tax base of the town proper. But it goes a bit further than what in my opinion is a seedy speed-trap under the guise of serving and protecting, as a resident of Waverly by the name of Larry Turner found out back in April of this year when his face was left mangled after an alleged altercation with one of Waverly's esteemed local officials sporting the bronze star.

There will be more about my own encounter with this police department in the next blog entry once I get my video testimonial with David Keeter up on Youtube, but all readers of this blog should definitely be getting a clear picture of why Lorissa's case was botched so terribly. Either by sheer ineptitude or an outright abuse of power (it is my opinion that both played a pivotal role in justice not being served immediately following Lorissa's death), Doug Taylor was let off on an alibi that was changed no less than 3 times in the span of a few hours. There have been a number of additional 2nd hand accounts I have heard from David regarding Lorissa's encounters with the Waverly PD that I won't get into at this time that further testify to a lack of professionalism on the part of both Lands (who now has the same position in Halifax, where they apparently have been without a head cop for about a year) and at least 1 of his subordinates during his tenure as chief in 2008 up until Lorissa's death in late 2009.

It should be stated for the record that in anticipation of frivolous charges of libel that all assertions not immediately sourced or recounted as my own experiences are opinion, and has been noted as such within the article. So my advice to anyone who would assume to apologize for Mr. Lands and his police force would do well to check into these things themselves before commenting. As the classic government propaganda line goes, if the Waverly PD has done their job well, then they have nothing to hide and should release the incident report of Lorissa McComas' passing immediately.

Setting The Record Straight (Part 4)

Due to a number of issues with my computer thanks to the stroke of genius that was Windows 8 (sarcasm), a good amount of footage that I took in early September while visiting Waverly, Virginia was not uploaded to Youtube. Now having resolved these issues, I can now provide visuals to go along with every thing that was shared in the previous installments of this part of the Lorissa McComas saga. What I observed while observing Lorissa and David's former house at 10342 Petersburg Road (Waverly, Virginia), the apartment at 132 B Sylvan Street (Waverly, Virginia) and the nearby Glen's Texaco and Automotive (literally a stone's throw from the apartment) confirms everything that I have learned from David since making contact with him earlier this year.

My first stop was the lovely colonial that David purchased for Lorissa in late 2006, which became their home for several months preceding David's wrongful arrest by the SS...I mean ATF. Sadly, though another resident had moved into the property some time after Lorissa lost the house in 2008, it stands uninhabited and the property is showing heavy signs of neglect, with an overgrown lawn, vegetation breaking through the driveway and the paint chipping away. As alluded to in earlier videos, it was during this period that Lorissa had renewed all her contacts in the movie business and had begun to kick her Oxy Contin addiction, all by her own initiative according to David's testimony.

While my visit to Lorissa's former house was met without incident, the same cannot be said for what transpired when David and I visited Lorissa's former apartment, which was inhabited by an extremely shady person that thought we were DEA agents because of my camera (any assumptions as to the occupation of these people can be rightly made). Though I opted not to create an incident and film the apartment close-up, I did manage to get some footage of Doug Taylor's former place of employment, Glen's Texaco. The distance from the apartment to Doug's place of work was close enough to be walked in no more than 2 minutes by any person not using a walker. David even commented that someone could easy throw a baseball from the edge of the Texaco parking lot on Sylvan St. to the apartment.

More details will come in the next several weeks as I get the rest of the transcripts from my interview with David up on this blog. But in the meantime, I request that all interested parties consider where Lorissa was come 2007, and how radically different her life was in contrast to the picture painted by the rumor-mill, which has been largely repeated in all of the well-intending, though mistaken online media that have been the lone sources of her departure until David came forward. And for anyone who would like to see justice served, please visit this petition and sign your name in support of getting the Virginia state government to re-open Lorissa's case.

Lorissa McComas 11/26/70 - 11/03/09 (R.I.P)

It has been 4 years now since the untimely passing of the angel depicted in the photograph just above these words, and in that time there has been an emptiness in the lives of all who knew her or otherwise knew of her. It is perhaps with a strange twist of providence that the anniversary of her passing has fallen on The Lord's Day, a time of spiritual rest, prayer, worship and reflection for someone of my persuasion. One might argue that I am breaking the Christian Sabbath by uploading this post, but part of me rests assured that this falls under either being a work of mercy or otherwise one of piety.

Many who have come to know the truth about what happened to Lorissa may not share my theological take on things, but all are united in their adoration of this beautiful creature and a desire to see those who took her away punished. But for this occasion I prefer to remember, and what I recall most is how I first came to know of her. As a teen with no sense of self-confidence and afflicted with a high-functioning yet noticeable variant of Asperger's Syndrome, I was often closed off to the world, particularly in the year 1996 when my family moved and I had to start my social life all over again. It wouldn't be a stretch to say that I was completely tuned out, but with it came a sense of loneliness and, at times, despair.

One night after a rough day of trying to adjust to a new high school, I found myself unable to sleep and downstairs flipping the television stations looking for yet another escape. What I found was a film that was the gateway for many of Lorissa's fans, "Lap Dancing", starring a woman that somehow seemed familiar (I had seen her image before on the cover of Playboy's Book Of Lingerie Aug/Sept Issue when I was 12, found in the woods behind my middle school by sheer happenstance, but I didn't realize it until several months later). As time went on and I came of the age where I could follow material without my parent's consent (not that I had it to begin with), I continued to follow her work on cable television and even picked up some copies of her work on VHS and DVD.

Suffice to say, I didn't date much, perhaps in part because whether she intended it or not, she had changed the way I saw things, and it isn't much of a stretch to say that few women could compete with her charms, her unique duality of innocence and seductiveness. I don't know if I have the right to say that I loved her since I never met her, and never mustered the courage to attempt to contact her fan club back when I would have been able to, but as David said in his interview with me, "I really hoped that she would succeed". It really is a strange thing how the media technology that we now possess has changed the way we see the world, and yet, I can't help but see parallels with how people have been moved by books, be they non-fiction, fiction, or religious in nature. Perhaps Lorissa's affect on me, on all of us, isn't so atypical or strange.

I sincerely hope and pray that justice will come soon, but more so, I want people to remember her as she was, her true story. It is a tragedy, and yet there is a sense of redemption and triumph to it. She had lost everything, including her own son, but she did not break under the weight of the world, but stood her ground in a Hemingway-like manner, destroyed, yet undefeated. More of this story will come when I post the rest of my interview with David, and due to the unfortunately poor quality of the audio, we will probably do another one when he is in my neck of the woods and we are able to conduct it inside without any distractions.

As I close out this blog, I wish to end with a brief sonnet that I composed for Lorissa, in the old Shakespearean form.

Privileged were the eyes that Adam wore,
The day he awoke to fulfillment's prize,
Such is the blessed sight that man adores,
When caught within the wind as passion cries,
The light be praised, for it revealed your face,
Luminous in itself, transcending reach,
The night be welcome, it hides not your grace,
The smile that mends the heart's unhealed breach,
But oh you twisted world, delusions prevailed,
In madness you slap at God's giving hand,
At his very image, you have assailed,
Flesh of my flesh, broken to ash and sand,
But the candle recalls her and shall stay,
Till the day that you and Death fall away.

Rest in Peace Lorissa.

Justice For Lorissa

It has been a little less than a year since I first met David Keeter and began the long trip down the rabbit hole that has led me to the truth of Lorissa McComas' final years. In that time I have made many contacts, some of them good friends and family of hers, whereas others (whose testimony will not be published) have been largely responsible for helping what came to pass. But in the last several weeks I have made contact with one of Lorissa's best childhood friends, a contact that may prove to be a game-changer. I have since been blessed with the opportunity to assist her in finally pursuing the justice that has been a near 4 years coming, and I invite all of you to join with me in this effort.

There has recently been a campaign started on Facebook at Justice For Lorissa to bring this effort to the next level, and with it a petition on Change.org to get the Virginia State Police to re-open Lorissa's case and hopefully bring Doug Taylor to trial for her murder. At present the Facebook page has a little over 100 likes and the petition has a couple dozen signatures, but more is needed to make this a reality. If you are a fan of Lorissa's work, an awe-struck admirer like myself, or just someone who believes that words such as "Justice" and "Fairness" carry meaning for all those whom share this world, please join the effort by visiting the Facebook page and also signing the petition. The words of the petition are posted below and can also be read on the Change.org page.

Lorissa McComas was a beautiful model and actress who was originally from Mason Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. She was in countless movies and publications dating from the early 90’s thru the late 2000’s.

During the closing months of 2006 Lorissa had filed for divorce and moved from Melbourne, Florida to Waverly, Virginia  in efforts to free herself from her alcoholic and abusive husband Doug Taylor. During this time she was in the process of winning back custody of her son, who was taken from her by the Florida CPS due to unfit living conditions. These conditions were largely the fault of Doug's drunken gun slinging behavior i.e. Doug shooting a gun thru a door knowing their son was on the other side. Lorissa's efforts in leaving Florida and Doug were with the assistance of her fiancé and protector David Keeter, whom she had planned to marry once a divorce from her husband was finalized. After a series of bizarre and blatant abuses of power courtesy of the ATF, David found himself in Gilmore federal prison on bogus charges leaving Lorissa without financial or other needed support. Soon after this occurred, Doug Taylor came to Waverly and began a near 3 year cycle of abuse until her alleged suicide on November 3rd, 2009. Though Lorissa's death was ruled a suicide by the Waverly Police Department there were massive irregularities in Doug Taylor's alibis (he changed his story no less than 3 times in the first four hours), as well as several pieces of evidence suggesting Doug to be the cause of her death.

• Here are a few:

 • Doug had Lorissa call into work for him November 3, 2009 @ 10 am to say he was sick. In reality he was still intoxicated from the previous night he spent drinking and verbally abusing her. When Lorissa called into Doug's work at Glen's Texaco in Waverly, Va. that morning she was said to be in good spirits.

 • Lorissa was killed @ approx. 10:30 am November 3, 2009 with a Mossberg 12 gauge pump shotgun that Doug always had by his side and had previously pulled on other visitors to her home.

 • Several residents of Waverly have stated that Doug was abusive and irrational during the period leading up to her death, most importantly the night prior to and the morning of her death.

• Lorissa did NOT know how to use a pump shotgun.

 • Lorissa's fingerprints were NOT on the gun.

 • Lorissa did NOT have powder burns or residue on her hands.

• Doug had powder burns and blood on his hands and in his hair, his fingerprints were on the weapon of death.

• The most incriminating of all is the fact that Doug spoke with David in Federal prison on November 9th, 2009 at 9:05pm and confessed to the crime. Federal prison phone calls are recorded as a matter of policy, but the Federal Government elected NOT to pursue the matter despite having a taped confession of an admitted murderer.

 • After the police declared Lorissa’s death a suicide Doug disappeared along with Lorissa's film and print originals that he continues to sell and collect profit from via the internet. His whereabouts are still unknown.

Justice demands that the case be reopened, all audio evidence currently possessed by the Federal Government be subpoenaed and that Doug Taylor be charged with Lorissa McComas' murder.  A beautiful model/actress and mother of an innocent child has been taken from the world, a potentially dangerous man still walks free, and it is very likely that an entire community in Waverly, Virginia is being protected by an incompetent and or corrupt police department. We therefore petition the state of Virginia to reopen Lorissa's case and see to it that the Lorissa's family, friends, the American people and most importantly Doug Taylor have their day in court.

Interview with David Keeter Part 1

Falling in love with Lorissa McComas

Jonathan: Good afternoon or good evening everybody, this is Jonathan (better known to my youtube subscribers as Hell's Unicorn, independent blogger) and I'm here on location with in Waverly, Virginia with David Keeter and we've got some stuff to tell you about. Now David, you were a very close and dear friend to model and actress Lorissa McComas. Can you give me a little bit of background on how you first found out about her, your first meeting, stuff like that.

David: Yes sir. I think like most people, my first experience with Lorissa was seeing her on the cover of the Playboy Special Edition Book of Lingerie issue of August/September 1991. I had my own business, I was working myself to death, and I didn't have any social life (chuckle) whatsoever, just working 7 days a week. And then I just saw this lovely lady on the cover of this magazine, and honestly she was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen in my life, and it just took me over right at that moment. Then I started to see more and more print work of her, and on the cable channels I saw some of her movies, and it became sort of a hobby. I would just always look forward to her work. There was just something about her that just drew me to her instantly, and I would watch her work, and in my own little corner of the world I just really hoped that this woman would succeed.

That went on for a couple of year, then around 1993 she came out with her fan club, and I figured I'd give it a call, and I talked to her then manager Doug Taylor. I got some information, and it turned out, strangely enough (of course we're here in Virginia), that Doug was originally from only about an hour and a half away from me in North Carolina. So it started with a very mutual friendship, that we were all from the same area, and unbeknownst to me Lorissa had actually worked this area early in her career. So there was already a type of bond.

So around that time all the way up to 1995 we would talk on the phone. Sometimes Lorissa would, well she was busy, and didn't want to spend too much time talking to fans on the phone, so she would pretend that she was someone else. She would give another name on the phone, but there was no mistaking her voice, she couldn't hide that voice. But I didn't want to blow that facade for her, so whatever name she would use, I'd be like “okay Julie, I'd just like to pick up some videos and some autographed 8×10s”, and more times than not about half way through our conversations she would say “Dave, this is Lorissa”.

And we continued that up until about 1999, her parents had retired and were moving to Florida, and Lorissa had decided that she wanted to do feature entertainment here on the East Coast in some of the more high end gentleman's clubs. It was in Wilmington, North Carolina that she was going to be there, and they asked that I come. So I met them at the club, and this is a very good story and I'm not going to go into all of it or we'll be here all day (chuckle), but when she came out on the stage she was in costume. She was wearing a baby blue nurse's costume, and we had never met, we had only talked on the phone, but she walked right up to me and told me to stand up. And I had to say it, I was just “Miss McComas, my name is David and I just drove a thousand miles to see you”, and she said “I know exactly who you are, you're Dave Keeter”. I said, “Yes Ma'am, I am”, and she said back “Dave it's a pleasure to finally meet you”, and I said “Miss McComas that's my line”. (chuckle)

And we started a conversation right there, the music was playing, and the DJ had to stop the music. He said “Lorissa, you can socialize after your set”, so she pointed to the table where I should meet her after she got off stage. As soon as she did, I went over there, met her and Doug for the first time, and it was right at that moment that Lorissa and I became friends. I started to just meet them on the road whenever possible, and it was more times than not. It really started at that point, I was just taken by her, because no matter what people would see on stage, or on film, or in magazines, the lady herself was just a very charming individual that really appreciated her fans.

Setting The Record Straight (Part 3)

After a period of additional investigation I have made some additional contacts with people who were in Melbourne, Florida during the time of Lorissa's troubles. While I am still in the process of separating fact from fiction, it appears that a fair number of contradictions between the 3 different people that I have spoken to since things started coming through the woodwork. If nothing else, there is far more going on here than has been published, and it looks like a good amount of criminal activity on the part of certain people can be assumed.

Be this all as it may, the primary drive of this particular post is to further reveal the good side of Lorissa's time since leaving her troubled past behind, the redemption that is quite inspirational. Sadly this story did not have a happy end, but it paints the picture of a woman determined to pick up the pieces, a woman that had found a decent man after years of abuse and neglect. Enclosed in the new installment of my ongoing audio commentary about this is a letter from Lorissa to David that reveals a woman that had much to live for, a woman who would not have killed herself.

Suffice to say, the rumors of Lorissa's suicide have a source, and that source is the cause of her death, Doug Taylor. Even if it were to come to light that her death was an accident, this piece of human garbage did everything in his power to make her life a living hell, and thus exposing her flaw of seeing good in people even when it isn't there. Towards the end (as alluded to in Part 2) it was clear that her naivety had faded and she was committed to complete separation from him, though she still wanted to see him taken care of (a comparison to Mother Teresa would be appropriate).

With regard to the "Kitten" referenced in Lorissa's letter to David, Lorissa actually had 2 pet cats, one of them was named Kitten. It is a testament to Doug Taylor's cruelty and inhumanity that in addition to not caring about the pain that she was in, that he had money to spend on his alcoholism but not a few dollars for her to get her cat a vet. appointment. To the best of my knowledge, both of her cats were euthanized after she died and Doug had fled town, a final gift to the memory of a woman that he was quoted by one of my Florida sources as being "his entire world". Then again, a reprobate man will ultimately destroy what he claims to love, and the good folks living in Waverly that are supposedly big on small town community did nothing to help her according to David.

My acceptance of the Reformed Presbyterian faith has taught me mankind is inherently depraved, but I am always taken aback by every countless example that reveals itself. But it's hard even in my cynicism to fathom the contemptible scumbag guising as a man that took this beautiful creature from the world. And it is my hope that in time justice will come, but I will not wait for it to come on its own, nor should any of you if you feel so inclined to take up a parallel cause in communicating the truth of what happened to her. She loved you all, and is smiling down upon you now as I write this.

A Response to "A Joe's Eye View" (Part 1)

One persistent question that continually comes up regarding the later life of Lorissa McComas is the nature of things at her home in Melbourne, Florida after the passing of her father in November of 2001. Apart from those who have had the ability and inclination to get in contact with people close to her, most have been reliant on the A Joe's Eye View blog chapter dubbed "Lorissa McComas: My Final Thoughts", which is presently the 4th highest ranked listing on Google for her name after her personal website, and her respective IMDB and Wikipedia pages. While the honest intent of blogger Joe Vannicola is obvious, like many in the journalistic field (independent or otherwise), he is a victim of unreliable sources.

Having squared the credibility of Lorissa's fiance David Keeter with members of Lorissa's family, his testimony has brought many needed revelations into the equation, one of which has been divulged in the first "Lorissa McComas: Setting The Record Straight" video that Lorissa was not suffering from RS Dystrophy, and consequently did not pass due to any illness. Joe alludes to the possibility in this final entry, mentioning another false scenario that has been in circulating that Lorissa shot herself with a hand gun after discovering her brother Rennit had committed suicide. The truth is that the exact opposite occurred, as Lorissa had died 2 days before Rennit had killed himself using Methadone that he had stolen from her.

Though I have yet to acquire the police reports from the Waverly PD, they have confirmed that Lorissa (Taylor) McComas had indeed died of a shotgun blast to the head, and David has further alluded that Lorissa's fingerprints were not on the gun and that her abusive husband Doug Taylor had his fingerprints on it as well as powder burns on his hands. Any thinking person can already begin to see problems with the notion that Lorissa could shoot herself and leave no fingerprints on the weapon of death, not to mention that David has further revealed that Lorissa had never handled a pump shot gun in her life.

However, the principle subject that needs to be addressed in Joe's final blog to Lorissa (which is poor on actual content and largely alludes to the older 2006 interview he did with her), is the alleged source for some of the things mentioned later in the article. In the time since I have published my findings both on Youtube and this blog, I have been contacted by two former friends of Lorissa's from the period in question (Melbourne 2002-2006), and one of them is likely the same source that contacted Joe given the radical parallels in her story. David has revealed that there were a number of women who had come and gone during Lorissa's time in Melbourne, and very few of them come out of this looking very good. However, this woman's testimony, in part, has been confirmed by David.

While it may be hitting a sensitive subject, the author of this blog feels it necessary to state the obvious, Lorissa's ex-husband (I will not dignify him with the title widower, David would be more worthy of that title) Doug Taylor was a leech and it is easy to believe that he would not have a job at the time of Lorissa's passing. However, after David's arrest and Lorissa and he losing the house in Waverly to foreclosure, she was compelled to share an apartment with Doug and her brother Rennit. David Keeter's family and the owner of the apartment Lorissa lived in (also the owner of Glen's Texaco in Waverly, Virginia, the place where Doug was employed), helped Lorissa monetarily, but ultimately Doug ended up taking up employment at said landlord's business to compensate for living all but rent free.

It has been further confirmed by David Keeter that in addition to being a slobbering lush of an alcoholic, that Doug was also a serial adulturer, often times fornicating with many of the women that Lorissa had worked with in a professional capacity. When the woman who is Joe's source states that Lorissa came out of things not looking very good, apart from a bad Oxy Contin (legal heroine) addiction that impaired her judgment, the only other thing that could be said negative about Lorissa is that she saw good in people when it wasn't there and tolerated far too much verbal abuse and unfaithfulness from a man that, all things considered, was unworthy of shining her shoes.

But worse still, Doug did indeed fit all the necessary traits of a "pimp", often times convincing Lorissa to push her own boundaries in her video work (there are some videos that qualify as border-line hardcore, all of which involve clear signals of her discomfort in performing the acts depicted, and in one particular case, the camera operator giving her assurances that it would not be published). Likewise, Doug would try to literally sell his own wife to men in exchange for money, all of this was resisted by Lorissa according to David Keeter's testimony, and often ended up causing verbal altercations between her and Doug.

Every negative element that came into Lorissa's life after her parents passed can be traced to Doug's willingness to allow any lowlife off the streets into their home in exchange for beer or drugs, and this includes the entry of two questionable fellows by the names of Jeff and Gary, the latter of which made an appearance to Lord Dixie's memorial to Lorissa less than a year ago under the identity of MarsRevealer and got into an argument with David Keeter. Both of these individuals were drug dealers by either trade or hobby, and contributed to keeping Lorissa addicted to Oxy Contin while simultaneously locking her out of her own computer so she couldn't see her own bank records and realize that she was being robbed blind by them and a few others.

On Lord Dixie's blog this same Gary admitted to actually locking Lorissa out of her computer and keeping her ignorant of David Keeter's phone calls and attempts to help her. Some of these comments have since been deleted by him, but Lord Dixie has kept his copies of his comments and I will be attempting to get them for publication, as this same individual is likely not only guilty of stealing money from Lorissa and committing computer fraud, but also stole the master copies of much of Lorissa's work after being fired and is currently trying to sell them.

The rabbit hole on this naturally goes deeper than I will get into on this entry for purposes of brevity, but one thing that can be stated with full certainty is that Doug Taylor is a contemptable human being, if not an acquitted murderer which is still up in the air at this juncture. He is currently in control of all of Lorissa's work and her website, and it is with a degree of risk that I will now state the following. As beautiful as Lorissa was and as much as her enticing smile may invite you to part with money to order one of her videos from her website, don't purchase anything from her website. You will be monetarily feeding a monster who has deprived the world of one of its most beautiful souls. Instead, remember her by seeking the truth about her life, the things that she loved and hoped for, which included all of you.

I will endeavor to provide more in the coming weeks. God bless.

Re-post of my evi.com answer regarding Lorissa's passing.

This blog contains the republication of an answer that I gave on www.evi.com regarding the nature of Lorissa McComas' passing. It will be useful to the readership of this blog in that it will give a basic manifesto/thesis for a case that will continue to build in the coming months as more information is published. It will hopefully answer many nagging questions that those have regarding the end of this dear woman's life, and why the scenarios being spread around in conjunction with the "A Joe's Eye View" blog are incorrect, as well as spark some continued inquiries regarding the full nature of Lorissa's life after she left her acting and modeling career.  Q: What do you know about the death of Lorissa McComas?

A: Lorissa McComas died of a shot gun blast to the head while living in Waverly, Virginia (not Melbourne, Florida as Wikipedia states, she had left Florida in 2004 and had official residency in Virginia).

She was undergoing treatment for a bad addiction to Oxy Contin (which was encouraged and worsened by her dead-beat, abusive ex-husband Doug and several of his thug friends, though the tragic loss of her parents clearly didn't help matters) and had gotten it under control.

This information was kept out of the media by Lorissa's own initiative out of both embarrassment and a desire not to have her reputation tarnished while trying to get her acting and modeling career going again. She never had RS Dystrophy.

She was in the process of getting her son back once she had separated from Doug but after her then fiance David Keeter was arrested by the ATF on a bogus straw-purchase charge and sentenced to nearly 5 years in prison on a so-called misdemeanor charge (your tax dollars at work), Doug moved back in with Lorissa and the cycle of abuse began anew.

The circumstances of her death are disputed by David Keeter and a few others. The official statement of the Waverly Police Department is that Lorissa committed suicide, however there are several indicators that law enforcement botched the investigation. Doug was present in the house when Lorissa died, changed his alibi 3 times within 4 hours of questioning from police, had his finger prints on the shotgun used and powder burns on his hands, and skipped town immediately after the case was allegedly closed. The chief of Waverly PD was terminated from employment for incompetence after the case was closed based on performance in other, unrelated cases.

Lorissa's brother Rennet McComas committed suicide 2 days later using Methadone that he stole from her, and it is further argued by David Keeter that he may have been stealing her Methadone and replacing it with placebos for purposes of recreational use for a while given Lorissa's declining health while trying to kick her Oxy Contin addiction. Rennet had an extensive history of recreational drug abuse and was a registered nurse and quite capable of pulling the feat alleged by David.

After Lorissa died, Doug had her cremated but refused to give her family the ashes (they are most likely still in his possession) so that she could not be buried next to her parents in West Virgina (the McComas family's home state), this was her wish since her parents passed in 2001.

The full truth of what happened is not fully confirmed, but after having interviewed both David Keeter and Lorissa's Aunt, and having confirmed the former's relationship with Lorissa by multiple means (including a voice mail greeting on his phone featuring Lorissa's voice and mentioning David by name), I am 100% convinced that the so-called official story is false. Hopefully others will start digging and the truth will be uncovered. Lorissa was a beautiful, kind, benevolent soul who may well have been the victim of foul play.

Setting The Record Straight (Part 2)

One of the most pervasive pieces of disinformation going around right now with regards to the passing of Lorissa McComas is the very place of her end. If you visit the wikipedia page dedicated to her (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lorissa_McComas), you will see Melbourne, Florida listed as her last place of residence. While it is true that she had established residency in Florida going back to the early 2000s so she could care for her terminally ill mother, but by 2004 she was spending more time living in Waverly, Virginia. She had established official residency in Virginia in 2006, not too long after having asked her then husband Doug Taylor for a divorce (which he agreed to, though he never completed the paperwork once he received it), and gave him the house in Melbourne (which he subsequently lost to foreclosure).

The primary reason for her leaving Florida was the nature of the life that she had down there, which was one of emotional torment and neglect, encouraged and perpetuated by her so-called husband. This information has been provided to me by David Keeter, the man responsible for moving her away from Florida, and also arguably the only person in Lorissa's life after her parents' passing that truly cared for her. Upon first discovering these facts, the author of this blog took them on instant trust, as the source came off as completely genuine. However, given that a healthy amount of skepticism should always be employed when dealing with new information, a video has been put together to document David's proof for his association with Lorissa that can be seen at the link below.

Contained within this video is a voice-mail greeting featuring Lorissa's voice which is near impossible to mistake for anyone else, along with letters accounting an affectionate correspondence between Lorissa and David. It speaks also to a woman who was emotionally stable and had a lot of hope for the future, in direct contrast to the picture that everyone has of a poor little china doll who fell apart under the stress of losing her parents. In short, it speaks to a woman who had no reason to take her own life. It also speaks to a woman who was just a little too trusting and was routinely taken advantage of by those who claimed to care about her, including potentially her own brother Rennit who very well could have been stealing Lorissa's methadone medication to get high with, utterly indifferent to the physical harm that it was causing by denying her a smooth way out of a nasty addiction to oxy contin which was not of her making.

Contrary to what other blogs covering her life have claimed, the truth regarding Lorissa's life is known to some, and it will be known to the rest in due time. In the coming days I will be doing official responses to the "A Joe's Eye View" accounts of Lorissa's life to correct some erroneous facts and also to fill in a lot of gaps and answer the many questions that have lingered due to the unreliability of his sources, though his intentions appear to be that of a genuine journalist looking to get the right story. I will also be attempting to do a live interview with David Keeter on youtube/Google+ to get his full account of Lorissa's life out in the near future. This is indeed a tragic story, but also one that has some inspirational parts to it, especially insofar as David's part in all of this. Thank you for reading and please stay tuned for further updates.

Setting The Record Straight (Part 1)

The Truth Regarding The Life And

Passing Of The Famed B-Movie Actress

And Pin-Up Model

Over the course of the past 3 years there has been a fair amount of interest in the life of Lorissa McComas. She was arguably the greatest natural beauty of the 1990s and early 2000s, a gentle and loving soul who touched many lives through her work in the modeling and movie industry, and more recently a tragic figure who's final years have been shrouded in mystery. The author of this blog is but one of many devoted fans who were stunned to hear of her untimely passing, and though accusations of bias may well be in order, the contents of these publications are of an honest intent and a steadfast desire to uncover the truth.

In the past several months, I have made contact with several contacts who were very close to her during the final years of her life. The most invaluable and trustworthy of these sources is a man by the name of David Keeter, another long time fan of Lorissa's work who became good friends with the acclaimed model during the late 1990s, and then eventually much more. It is with his blessing that I am now able to tell her side of the story, a story that has yet to be told due to circumstances beyond the scope of most online media outlets who have tried to square her passing with a number of rumors that have run rampant across the net.

In the coming weeks and months, I will be publishing information that has been sorely lacking from all present media accounts, along with explanations as to why this information was suppressed by Lorissa during her interview with "A Joe's Eye Blog" back in 2006 (which has been the primary source for all the information feeding the present rumor mill). It will be further demonstrated that there were a few key characters in her late life and untimely end (some living, some also deceased) who will not coming out of this looking good, but as in all things, truth is preferred to that which would obscure it for sake of reputation.

For the time being, linked below is the first video commentary that I have done regarding Lorissa's passing and a beginning to the long tale of what happened after she had ceased contact with most of the people who knew her in Melbourne, Florida. Brace yourselves for a story that is far sadder than the one you think you know, and please comment upon it or ask any questions you wish and I will do my best to answer them.
